PATIENTS Day is the pinnacle event of The PATIENTS Program at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

About the Event:
PATIENTS Day is a transformational learning opportunity for community residents, patients, researchers and trainees across the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), advocates, and health care providers. PATIENTS Day seeks to transform the way research is understood and talked about by community residents, patients, and UMB researchers and trainees. It promises to be a fun-filled day in West Baltimore, featuring a health fair and interactive panel sessions.
Agenda:
- Interactive speakers
- CO-PILLAR: Learn about our work on our partnership to create patient-centered outcomes research focusing on mental health from PATIENTS Program staff Thomas “Joe” Howarth
- The ENRICH study: Learn how older adults can improve getting around the home and community after a hospital stay from Dr. Jason Falvey, University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research looks at ways to improve outdoor walking and use transportation, so people get back to doing things they love after injury or illness.
- Health fair: Community resources, dental information, wellness advocates, and much more
- Free lunch!
