Emily Parks, BA, is a senior media and public relations specialist with The PATIENTS Program at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
About Emily:
Emily is responsible for assessing content opportunities and recommending content strategies that meet specific goals and deliver excellent audience engagement. Emily works closely with the entire PATIENTS team to develop and execute content across multiple communications channels (e.g., website, blog posts, social media, print, and multimedia) and using predefined measurements to refine messaging and creative direction.
Emily has expertise in the areas of program management, grant writing and professional development programs as well as feature writing for publications. Current freelance clients include The Baltimore Sun and I95 Business magazine. Past projects include managing professional development education programs as well as the re-accreditation process with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) with the University of Maryland School of Nursing, regulatory start up for oncology clinical trials at University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, and grants management with Komen Maryland.
