Brittany Harris is a nationally recognized leader in community engagement, known for designing and scaling high-impact partnerships that bridge public health research with the lived realities of patients, families, and communities. As Senior Engagement Specialist at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s PATIENTS Program, Brittany serves as the strategic architect of the program’s national expansion, bringing the voices of underrepresented communities to the forefront of health research.

With over a decade of experience at the intersection of health equity, systems change, and community advocacy, Brittany brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. Having navigated structural barriers herself, she leads with authenticity and urgency, ensuring research is not only conducted about communities but also with them.

Her portfolio includes:
