Blessing Enobun is a First Year Doctoral Student and Research Assistant with The PATIENTS Program in the Department of Pharmaceutical Health Services Research (PHSR) at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP).
About Blessing:
Blessing received her medical degree (MD) from the Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria in 2010 and worked in several capacities as a general practitioner (GP) for 4 years before leaving for the US. She came to Baltimore, MD in 2014 to pursue a Master of Public Health focused on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins University. Following her MPH graduation in 2015, Blessing has worked with the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland in several roles and several therapeutic areas, managing clinical research trials and cohort studies.
Research Experience:
Blessing’s interests include pharmacoepidemiology and patient-centered outcomes research spurred from her experience in clinical research trials and physician-public health background. After joining the PhD in PHSR program, she worked with Drs. C. Daniel Mullins and Wendy Camelo Castillo during her Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 research rotations, respectively. She is currently working with Dr. Camelo Castillo to determine the prevalence of cancer-related cognitive impairment and its impact on quality of life in adolescent and young adults.
