Whether you are a student, alumnus, faculty or staff member, or friend of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, there are a variety of ways to get involved in the life of the School.
Individuals who get involved in the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy are helping to advance the School's mission, educate a new generation of leaders in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and health outcomes research, and improve the health of Maryland residents and our global community.
By joining the Alumni Association, graduates can develop a rewarding, life-long relationship with the School. Regular meetings and special events help alumni stay up-to-date with current happenings at the School.
In addition, practicing pharmacists and other health care professionals can become preceptors to current students, helping to mentor, facilitate, develop, and evaluate students’ competencies through knowledge, skills, and professionalism related to pharmacy practice.
If you are a current student looking for an opportunity to get involved in the School, consider joining a student organization or advocating for pharmacy and pharmacy education at the local and national level.
Finally, generous gifts from donors and friends help the School accomplish its mission and support much of the important work that takes place in our communities and throughout the state.
