Facilities housed within the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy offer a wide range of services and expertise to assist researchers with ongoing investigations.
Explore the links below to learn more about the three facilities currently housed within the School.
Applied Pharmaceutics Lab (APhL)
Extending the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy's mission to lead pharmacy education, scientific discovery, patient care, and community engagement across the state of Maryland and beyond, the Applied Pharmaceutics Lab (APhL) provides accessible and affordable services to researchers at all levels of product development.
High Throughput Screening (HTS)
The HTS Facility assists researchers in the field of drug discovery in identifying and investigating new compounds for basic research. Its faculty and staff can help researchers develop appropriate assays, screen targets against the facility’s diverse compound libraries, analyze and interpret assay results, and identify potential hits.
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy provides support for a full range of NMR studies into the structure, dynamics, kinetics, and reaction mechanisms of small organic molecules, pharmaceuticals and biomolecules, in addition to ligand binding studies and metabolomics.
