The Waters Select Series Cyclic IMS is a high definition mass spectrometer (HDMS) utilized for discovery and targeted - omic- based experiments and imaging. This HDMS platform provides accurate mass measurements, multiple tandem mass spectrometry/ion mobility workflows, and high resolution ion mobility separation of complex mixtures.
This instrument is equipped with:
- High Definition Hybrid Quadrupole/Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer
- Cyclic Ion Mobility for gas phase separation with multi passes allowing higher resolution
- Multi-stage tandem mass spectrometry (MSn) and tandem ion mobility (IMSn)
- ESI, DESI ionization source
- Acquity premier LC
The instrument is used for biomarker discovery and imaging in -omic study combining high-resolution/accurate mass detection, tandem mass spectrometry, and high resolution ion mobility.
