Bruker UltrafleXtreme MALDI TOF/TOF Mass Spectrometer

The Bruker UltrafleXtreme (UTX) mass spectrometer provides 2 kHz speed in TOF mode and 1 kHz speed in TOF/TOF mode.

This mass spectrometer is equipped with:

• Smartbeam-II^TMlaser
  • Down to 10µM spatial resolution for imaging experiments
• Broadband mass resolving power (RP) up to 40,000
• 1 ppm mass accuracy
• Tandem Mass Spectrometry
  • LID-LIFT

The UTX is used for a variety of MALDI applications, including mass spectrometry imaging (MSI), protein identification, peptide fingerprinting, and structure identification for a wide spectrum of biomoles (including lipids, polymers, glycans).
