Learning Objectives: At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Explain the risks and challenges associated with chronic pain management in older adults and opportunities for interprofessional collaboration.
  2. Interpret state laws and policies that affect chronic pain management in older adults in Maryland.
  3. Given a patient case, recommend best practices for providing patient-centered pain management in older adults in the state of Maryland.
