Requirements
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, ...) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible. R is available as Free Software under the terms of the Free Software Foundation's GNU General Public License in source code form. This section explains the procedure to develop a population PK model for the problem given in case study 1.
We have assumed the following things before any user uses this section:
- R can be downloaded for free from http://www.r-project.org/
- The user has some familiarity with R.
Modeling process
- The project plan is to develop a population PK model for the drug and explore the covariate relationship.
- Initial preliminary data analysis has been performed and rough initial estimates are obtained.
