Initiative for Maximizing Student Development Program Wins Diversity Recognition Award

The University of Maryland, Baltimore’s Initiative for Maximizing Student Development program (UMB-IMSD), supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has been instrumental in promoting the academic and professional success of graduate students from historically underrepresented backgrounds.

Unseen Potential

Alena Abraham, a fourth-year student pharmacist, created a podcast called Unseen Potential to raise awareness of and advocate for the blind and visually impaired community. In this blog post, Alena shares more about the inspiration for creating the podcast and what she's learned so far.
