Program Descriptions

Taught by experienced pharmacist educators, the PharmTechX Program includes three certificate programs: Leadership and Patient Care, Excellence in Health-System Pharmacy, and Community Pharmacy Practice and Management.

PharmTechX Program Description

Students are able to select one or more tracks based on their individual practice interests. At the end of each program, students are awarded a certificate signifying their mastery of the content and their skills related to communication, leadership, management, and the pharmacy medication process.

Content is delivered via online presentations and interactive learning to accommodate the working technician’s schedule.

Certificate 1: Leadership and Patient Care (UAN 0025-0000-15-031-H04-T)

The Leadership and Patient Care Certificate (UAN 0025-0000-15-031-H04-T) is a core certificate that must be completed by all participants. The total continuing education hours awarded through this certificate training program is 19.5.

The Excellence in Health-System Pharmacy Certificate (UAN 0025-0000-17-004-H04-T) is an optional certificate program that participants can choose to complete based on their individual practice interests.
